KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR THE JOHNSTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Support will be available on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 8am-6pm at the Johnston Senior High School.
 
 Computers will be available for families to use to register their child for the 2026-2027 school year.
 
 Please bring all required documents with you. (see list below)
 
 Staff will be available to assist you with uploading your documents to aspen.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Your child resides in Johnston
• Your child will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2026
• Parent/guardian must register child online at johnstonschools.org
• Please bring the following documents with you:
  • Birth certificate
  • Residency affidavit and 3 proofs of residency
  • Physical and immunization records
• Child must complete a child outreach screening prior to entering kindergarten.
