Distance Learning Day - January 26
As a reminder, all schools in the district will transition to a distance learning model for tomorrow, Monday, January 26th, due to the heavy snowfall that is expected over the next 24 hours.
The safety of our students, staff, and families is our top priority, and this decision was made after carefully considering coming weather conditions and travel concerns.
To ensure students are prepared, all students were sent home with their school-issued Chromebook and charger. We ask that families assist in ensuring these devices are used appropriately and are charged and ready for tomorrow morning. Please note that any damage, loss, or vandalism of the Chromebook may require reimbursement, and all equipment will need to be returned once in-person learning resumes. Students will receive instruction from their teachers through a combination of synchronous (live) and asynchronous learning activities.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding distance learning, please reach out directly to your child’s teacher.
Thank you for your continued support and cooperation. Please stay safe and warm.
Sincerely,
Scott Sutherland
Superintendent
